Enterprise AV Comparision

Ladies & Gents,

Due to Symantec owning messaglabs, and us using Messagelabs, and Symantec on the desktop we are now having to replace our desktop AV. Where can I go to get some up to date AV comparision at enterprise level. I have one from Cascadia Labs that was sponsered by Sophos, but am after some non biased one. Although I really like Sophos, and have done for years.

I need to put a justification to the Boss, as to which to really trial, or go for.

Simple, with messagelabs and symantec being the same their virus database will soon be exactly the same, and thus both products will only find the same nasties. So to be safe, having a product with different engines / databases is the way to be. No point having two products looking for the same stuff.

I want to ditch Symantec, so its all good. im a happy bunny. Just found out that Sophos have a NetApp Client, yippee.Luckily I'm just about to buy some NetApp filers.

Got the paperwork all signed off for a pair of filer's, two shelves, 20 odd 1Tb drives per Filer. Next Syamantec gets the heave Ho. All is sweet.

Two NetApp bottom of the range filers for mid 50's. Plus all the usual trimmings, and support.

just 2020 for now.

Might upgrade the controllers next year and turn them into 2040's We are only serving to @ 180 users. so thought 2020, dual controllers, dual power would be fine.
