Enthoo Luxe2 ( Computex )

Ooo looking good, currently have a Luxe and a Enthoo Pro, do like a Phantek.

PSU behind the shroud in the bottom pic? Does it make the case wider as its pretty hefty already?

Looks so clean and spacious though. :cool:

1)Correct, behind the shroud there's a PSU. Option to mount a dual PSU see second image (for a Dominus Extreme MB)
2)You can compare the width as your current Luxe/ Pro

there will be more info out on these cases: Eclipse P360X and P400A

nice! was gunning for P500 but sounds like reskinned 350 and 400 - hoping he 400a is the one with the triple ARGB fan and mesh front

@Phanteks_Care

So I didn't see any mention of the Primo at CES or Computex, does this mean that there will not be a refresh of the Primo to bring it's top I/O up to date with USB C?

Is the Primo being dropped from the range with the Luxe 2 also filling this spot?

Is the top I/O on the Primo upgradeable or is the whole top I/O part of one assembly? I'm wondering if each port is separate perhaps a USB 2 one can be dropped and replaced with USB C using https://www.overclockers.co.uk/lian-li-pw-ic01nh45-usb3.1-i-o-panel-for-pc-o11-ca-084-iw.html ?

1)Unfortunately we do not have an upgraded I/O for the Enthoo Primo
2)The Primo is not being dropped and is still available
3)audio board and USB 2.0 is combined. The 2 x USB 3.0 is separate ( 1 cable ) and this could be replaced with an aftermarket cable. But we do not have information of aftermarkets USB C products that will be compatible...

Whats the ETA, and is it dual system capable out of the box
ETA=soon
dual system capable out of the box*
*this is if your ITX board has an onboard GPU. If you want to use a high end GPU in your ITX, then you need a riser cable ( not included )

Of course, to get most out of your dual system setup, our Revolt X PSU is recommended.

I have the revolt x already, and yes I would need the riser cable, but would my other matx board look a bit lost in this case

Thanks, after some further research I think this case is sadly too short by one 5.25" ODD bay. By not making this case taller it seems it's actually less useful space wise. If it had an extra 5.25" ODD it could have accommodated 2 x 5 x 3.5" hot swap bays such as ( https://www.overclockers.co.uk/icybox-ib-555ssk-5-bay-sata-sas-hard-drive-backplane-hd-036-bt.html ) and that would have done away with the need to use the bottom section for HDD's. Presumably the side panel with the Phanteks plaque on beneath the ODD bays could be removed and display a reservoir there. As it is, having to use the lower area for HDD's results in the ODD area being a bit of a waste.

Moving on to the Entho Luxe 2;

* If I would like 8 HDD's to be mounted in a vertical stack just behind the front of the case, does this mean the back of the drives will be visible from the motherboard side of the case through the fan holes in that sides panel? I'm presuming the case fans can't be mounted there if using the drive cages?

Is the airflow path unrestricted on the front and top of the Luxe 2? I notice there is a gap between the front panel and the fans. I don't know which would provide the best airflow, a Phanteks P600S with the front and top covers removed or a Luxe 2. I would replace the fans and would use 3 Noctua NF-A14s in the front, 1 in the back and a 120mm Noctua NF-A12x25 in the top rear.
