Just trying to understand this properly.

What everybody seems to be saying is that all fans plugged into the hub will cannot be individually controlled. They will all run at the same speed?

What I wanted to do was plug my CPU fan into the motherboard then the hub into the CPU OPT port and then the case fans into the hub to control them both separately.

They don't seem to show the RPM in the software I'm using.

EDIT: Im using a Asus Ranger VII board and the Asus Suite 3 software.

it wont let you do that i have it setup the same way on my primo and im using the Asus suite. The fans connected to the hub confuse the software into thinking that its just running 1 fan. So you will have to have all the fans at one speed.

Including CPU fan? :( So can't have case fans and CPU fan seperate?

Getting Chassis Fan unavailable when usign Asus Suite, can see the CPU fan fine

EDIT: Never mind, sorted it. Stupid me using CPU OPT when that is for an extra CPU fan which holds the same speed as main CPU fan. Changed to Chassis Fan and now it's working great.
