Is it possible to clone my entire HDD, partitions, recovery, OS, files the works to another drive??

Reason being is i've just had the HDD replaced in my laptop and this one periodically clicks and makes noises like its powered down mid way though use so I dont trust the drive not to fail and wish to swap it out ASAP.

Any help appreciated :)

I don't know of a Windows tool, however I use the linux system rescue cd to copy partitions. See sysresccd.org for free download and instructions. You can re-partition the drive, backup and restore partitions to/from an image file and so on. There's a good memory test utility too.

I use True Acronis, and that will clone the entire drive, along with partitions.
If you use a WD, or Seagate drive, then their web sites do offer out a free version:D
