I'm assuming you are, but just checking...

I ordered an amp online, seemed ok when it arrived but now has a fault

I know u have 14 days to cancel and get a refund for any reason but is it the same if it's faulty.
I see on their t+c's that they will refund faulty items bought in store but can't see it mentioned about online. It's from gak.co.uk

how long have you had it?

If it's passed the 14 days returns, then it's likely to be a warranty claim which will either be handled by the website or the manufacturer.

Without looking at their terms and conditions, faulty would imply to me that they stump up the return postage, non-faulty would mean that you were responsible for return postage within the cooling off period

simple answer here - contact gak.co.uk and ask them. be polite and explain that it appears to be faulty. I'm sure they will offer replacement or refund and you can discuss postage costs with them.

will do, was just hoping to get a definite so I could ask politely but clearly in the email that I want a refund...thnk I'd rather get it somewhere local after this. GAK is about 500 miles away from me!

it wasn't an actual amp...it was the Kemper Profiler I got...have played a working one before, they're amazing...so disappointed I can't use it!

Have a kemper powerhead myself, amazing piece of kit. I had to return a gibson to gak a few years ago after they sent me a clearly used item. At £1400 i wasn't having it so they picked it up and sent out a replacement.

Yup, at these prices it needs to be mint!

They're collecting it tomorrow, turns out there's none left in stock anyway but they're refunding no probs

Glad you got sorted, i recommend buying from guitarguitar.co.uk those guys are incredidle to deal with. I had to have my first kemper replaced and they arranged a doorstep swap the next day and could not have made it easier. Gak are a bit meh to deal with.
