Thinking of going for full frame from my nikon d7100.

Current lens's I own.

Tamron 24-70 2.8
Nikon 50mm 1.8g
Nikon 70-300 VR

Here are two cameras I am looking at:

Cannon eos 6d
Nikon d600

Any thoughts as I will be doing more event photography based mainly around eveningso need good lowlight performance with good image quality.

If you got the Nikon glass then the 6D shouldn't even be in contention really.
Irrespective of that if your main requirement is good image quality then the D600 is definitely the pick, better color depth, lower noise and at least 2 stops more dynamic range.

I'd go with the d600 as you've got Nikon lenses already, IMO it's also the better camera on paper

Do you need full frame? What advantages are you looking for?
The 7100 has some better features than the 600 although the 600 is supposed to have better image quality overall

You have Nikon glass already, get the Nikon.

Both are actually good options, with slightly different pros and cons, but the difference between the two isn't worth switching.

Both have good low light performance. The AF on the 6D I think is technically better at the central point around low light (-3EV), but realistically yeah, it doesn't matter too much.

Get the D600

Thanks Guys.

Okay here is what i have decided.

Nikon D600

Tamron 24-70 2.8 VC
Nikon 50mm 1.8G

Swapping the Nikon 70-300 for the Sigma 70-200 2.8 OS.

So bye bye to Nikon D7100 and Nikon 70-300 VR.

D600 from a usability perspective is a downgrade. Yeh you get a full frame sensor, but you lose out in other areas that directly affect the ability to capture the images in the first place, rather than just how much noise or shallow DOF a picture had.
I would just get a D800...

If you can't stretch to a D800 then a D600 it is. It's just going to work out more expensive in the long run if you get another upgrade itch because frankly there is nothing wrong with a D7100 so I think you may be a GAS sufferer. And yes it takes one to know one.
