Ive got an EPDM roof on my cabin and I had to separate the back edge so I need to reseal it

I tried silicon but that just peels off

I am struggling to find an equivalent to what came with the kit

Its this kit https://www.roofingmegastore.co.uk/skyguard-epdm-shed-cover-kit.html

You can see the mastic tube is called bond and seal.

I have ordered a tube of Permaroof UPVC Bond and Seal Sealant Black as it says its for bonding to EPDM but not sure to be honest, its the closest I can find https://www.permaroofstore.co.uk/upvc-bond-seal-sealant.html

Anyone got any ideas if this will work (its just to attach the EPDM to wood so should stick to the wood pretty easily I would assume)

None of the "mega adhesives" I can find specifically mention EPDM, they all just say stick almost anything to almost anything

Is it just the edge that needs sealing, or has a section been peeled back?
The sealant is for the former, whereas contact adhesive (such as bostik) is for the later, generally.

As you've already ordered the sealant try that if it's a small section, just give it a decent clean before applying.

Well that looks like it will do the job for that task. I have always had good luck with using Sikaflex 221(/i), and this permaroof sealant seems to be another type of PU adhesive. It may take a while to cure as they seem to cure in contact with the moisture in the air.
