Some points of interest, this is GDDR3 and is 64-Bit interface. Most of the other cheap 5450's you see on the internet are DDR2 and 32-Bit interface, yet still cost more.

This is truly a great deal in this sector, if you are a trader or school and interested in volume then we can offer this price always for quantity deals and possibly a slightly even lower price. :)

how does this card compare to the onboard graphics of stuff like the i5 2500k and the phenom II range?

I'd be surprised if its as good to be honest, be good to see some benchmarks though as could be surprising as afterall its a dedicated solution.

so its probably best to recommend this for people wanting to boost the performance of an ageing HTPC then

Yep or someone knocking together a cheap DX11 PC that is not using one of the more expensive onboard VGA solutions.

Interested as to what version hdmi it is. Maybe useful for sending hd audio to my av receiver via hdmi? Ie doing the job of one of my 6950s at present? That's if its 1.4a
