Epic-on steam

Shame Steam still have rubbish pricing! UT3 can be had for £15 and even on offer Steam wants $45+ tax which equates to about $50 or £25+....

The original UT on steam sounds like a winner to me, I still have my original copy so hopefully steam will bring some new life into the original and best version of unreal :)

but its $10!!!

I bought the Unreal anthology (UT, UT2k4, Unreal and Unreal 2) for £10! The Steam prices are just stupid!

Yeah I agree steam prices are stupid but hopefully less informed people will buy UT from steam and breath new life in to the game and if steam are selling it they have to provide some support for it (I hope). I used to have so much fun with this game and it's far better than UT2003, UT2004 and UT3

Oh no, how dare they ask for £5 whole pounds for something that will give me hours of enjoyment... It costs more than that to do just about anything else...

Unfortunately it seems the developers set the prices on Steam. For example, FM2008 is something like $60 + tax in the UK when we can buy it from retailers for £20. I think Valve just want the other developers on Steam to gain the publishing rights from other companies to grow in value before setting standard prices.

I never played any of the Unreal games. Did any of them have great SP campaigns - great stories etc? Or were they only really good for MP?
