Epic query re: AC Mirage

I'm tempted by Assassin's Creed Mirage through the Epic Store, as it's £21.09 with the holiday voucher applied.

Has anyone bought it through the epic store?
Does it just activate in UPlay and you can then just fire up UPlay and launch Mirage or do you need to run Epic as well?

Pretty sure I bought an earlier AC through Epic and it just adds it to your UPlay account but things may have changed.
 
Yeah it's on your Uplay if you buy through Epic if the accounts are linked... I did exactly that...Bought on Epic....Then downloaded and played through Uplay.

+1. I had purchased Odyssey through the same way and always launched through uplay instead of epic.
