*EPIC THREAD* Major Problems with Coollaboratory Liquid Pro Thermal Compound DEAD CPU

i thought he had 4 diplomas why is he still buying stuff on here and asking for advice?

Yes, still buying stuff still asking for advice! This has to be a troll account!

Stop necro'ing this thread!

Saying that i used TG Liquid metal on my 13700K the other day for the first time in years. Small drop in temps but nothing substantial but enough to push voltages abit higher for a higher overclock on my watercooling setup.

Last thing i used liquid metal on was in a laptop which was hitting 105c and thermally throttling. It helped a lot in that instance but i know with todays systems pulling a lot less power it's less likely a beneficial task in that use case. My current laptop which has a 4080 and 13700h rarely gets even close to 90 under my use case and doesn't throttle. Also thanks for the necro! this was a funny threat when it launched

Im using this paste right now on a delidded Ryzen 7900 on the cores and IO die with a TG Micro Direct Die water Block and Ryzen 7900X3D on the cores and IO Die with the lid back on then the same paste on top of the lid with the cooler attached, both still get hot and neither have ever had any leakage, especially due to heat, so to the OP its obviously user error, I could have used TG's version, but its the same stuff for twice the price, liquid metal is the only paste you should be using on De-lidded CPU's so thank god OCuk still sell it.

Wow after seeing page 1 and 2 then jumping to the end i just realized this thread is like 13 years old, talk about raising the dead.
