Trying to find the right saddle bag for my cycle to Amsterdam coming. Anyone had experience between the 3 brands?

Looking at specifically specialzeds Bura Bura 20L
APIDURA 17L or
Ortlieb Large 16.5L,

From what I read maybe ortlieb as 100% waterproof but no reviews in comparison

Check out AlpKit too - much cheaper than the other brands.

I've got an alpkit saddlebag and really like it. Mine is smaller than the one i've linked here but that link is the same size as the others you're looking at so more appropriate.
It looks really good!, Alas im on fleabay and all I stated I can try win second hand, but I'm not sure how they all compare lol

If you're looking for something cheap, try podsacs from planetx

I've no idea about how the build quality compares to other brands but for the price I dont think you could go wrong.
You could get a full set (bar bag, frame bag and saddle bag) for less than the cost of a single saddle bag from one of the other brands mentioned.

Also, quick tip: if you're using a frame bag, get some side-entry bottle cages too.

Oddly enough I bought a full set of the Expedition Apidura bags this morning (14l saddle, 4.5l frame, 9l handlebar and 4.5l accessory pocket). The Expedition bags are waterproof

Edit: IIRC there is a YouTube video review doing a comparison between the Apidura and the Ortlieb saddle bags, by some woman. She preferred the Ortlieb I think.

Found it https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=bL3z4sRrgPQ

If you can fit all your stuff in one of the full framebags then it's much nicer to cycle with and a lot less hasle to work with. Just placed an order for one.

I've got the saddle bag and smaller framebag already, good kit but putting too much weight in the saddlebag and you can really feel it when cycling. Causes the bike to swing around a bit unless you're very smooth pedaling.
