Epson CX6400 Problem

I have an Epson CX6400 and it was working fine but just now when I turned it on it said Error see manual and consult technician if necessary. I can't see anything in the manual and it seems like it's probably time for a new printer but I thought it was worth posting on here to see if anyone knew what this error might be?

It's possible that the ink pads that catch the excess ink when in cleans itself are full, or the printer thinks they are.

Search for 'Epson Ink Pads Reset Utility' or similar on Google.
