Epson Durabrite

Has anyone here used any of the printers in the Epson Durabrite range (D68 etc.)?
I'm interested to know what you thought of the results, I don't think I've ever seen a printout from one of these. If they aren't up to much do you know of another system along the same lines - waterproof and high fade resistance?

I have the R300 and the prints are very good.I do find they tend to be darker than i want all the time tho.
