Epson r200 or Equivalent?

A friend wants a printer and I recommended the Epson r200 as its the same one I’ve got (we could share the cost of delivery on cartridges etc.). After looking it looks like its been superseded, anyone know if any of the Epson range use the same cartridges? Failing that what print straight CD\DVD printer would you recommend?

By that i take it you want it for printing labels? if so, considered a lightscribe drive?

Thanks for the advice but isn’t lightscibe black and white? (I’ve actually got one but never used it!)

Don't know... I'm still on CDRW myself, though from what I've seen, they don't state whether they're color or not.

Canon Pixma IP4500 - compatable inks also available for it if so wished, also better printer than the Epson Photo Stylus R285...
