Epson R300 replacement ?

I have had an Epson R300 for years and its been a good printer, no hassle, cheap inks but its decided to give up the ghost now.
What do I replace it with, needs to be reliable and cheap inks available.
What is the direct replacement for it ??

I have one of those printers now. Absolutely terrible and very unreliable piece of junk in my opinion

i don't know about cheap, but cheapish. and i got one to replace your same model 4 years ago. the epson px700w. it works with 3rd party cartridges/CISS/ink capture/etc. and there is, somewhere on the net, a service reset prog which cancels out the 'service required' reminder. this is the longest i've had an epson and it still prints excellently
