Equalify.

I can as I bought it, used it for about a week and uninstalled it.

Seems like too much bother to get the right settings and I could not be bothered with faffing about with it all the time. :D

I just listen to music as the artist intended now.

Blimey, that was quick, thanks for the comment.

Any other tools for the job,APO Equalizer maybe?

Only one I ever use (and then it's only very subtle changes for AKG K702 highs) is the one built into MusicBee but that's for playing back files

I have some Superlux HD668b and I want to roll just a touch off the highs, think maybe I'll try the APO one first.

Should be fine, I never use EQ to boost, only to reduce and even then I only use it to tame the AKG K702 peaks - I never use any EQ for my HD 650s, they just don't need it.

From what I can gather the best way is to leave everything in the middle and then subtract from the area you're looking to adjust so I'll go that way.

It would be nice if I could find a few hundred quid for a good set of cans but I can't see it happening anytime soon, too many other demands on my pocket.
