Equalise MP3 Sound Levels

I'm going to fit a Denison 300, iPod, USB interface to my car CD player. I want to play my MP3s from a USB stick. The MP3s are recorded at different sound levels, some quiet, some very loud.

Does anyone know of any software that I can run them through to equalise the volume levels before transfering them to USB?

Media Monkey will do that. I'm not sure if the free version will do it. You just need to add all your MP3s to Media Monkey and then run the equalise function.
