Do any of you guys have knowledge/experience of the followwing EqualLogic kit?
PS6110XS (SSD/SAS Hybrid Array)
PS6110E (NL-SAS)
NX3000 (Sata Array for CFS/NFS)

currently got Netapp FAS2050 which has been faultless, but the warranty is almost up, Netapp have been in and quoted for a new FAS3210 which is a great piece of kit but very expensive compared to Dells EQ offering!

Dell tell me that De-dupe is due Q4 2012, which is something we are currently using on the FAS2050

Dell also have an equivalent of the Netapp snapmanger tools for exchange/sql and sharepoint..

I would prefer to stick with a Netapp solution but the Dell solution meets all the requirements and is much cheaper, but I know little about it compared to my 4yrs experience with Netapp, so if any of you guys have good/bad experience of the Dell EQ kit it would be good to here.

cheers :-)

I've got a few PS6000s, they're decent enough. Dedupe isn't currently a feature which is annoying, also synchronous replication isn't currently a feature on them either. Which is also a bummer. They will replicate but they replicate snapshots on a schedule of minimum ever 5 minutes. Which is ok for backup, but no good for fault tolerance/HA applications.

They're cheap, but this is for a reason.
