Equip4Work Botnet

As a result of email problems, I have been told that a botnet (appearing to originate from Equip4Work) might have infected one or both of the PCs at the gliding club.

Does anyone have any further information about this, and how to check if we have it and rid ourselves of it if we do?

One way to check (though only applies if the software is active) is to get a list of open/listening connections from the router or similar.

There is various rootkit revealing and anti-malware software out there as well that can be used to scan the system.

Run a deep/full with your Malware and AntiVirus, and other any anti- whatever you want. Business grade if applicable.
