Equivalent PSU

Hi all.

I used my PSU to test a friend's PC and ultimately mine is no longer working. He is offering to replace it and to keep it fair I want to get like for like.

Mine is a Corsairs HX 650w professional series and obviously not sold anymore.

Which Corsair PSU would you suggest would be a fair like for like?

Doesn't your HX650 have a 7 year warranty? If so could it still be in warranty? The Corsair RM650X is one of Corsair's best psu's and is better than the HX650 that you have and has a 10 year warranty. Other brands well worth considering are the excellent EVGA Supernova G3 650w and Superflower Leadex Gold II 650w both of which have 7 year warranties.

Thanks for the reply. I also looked at the RM650 and may well go ahead with that one. My warranty ran out November 2016.
