Equivalent to an Nvidia 8800GT?

Looks like this card has died, can anyone tell me what the equivalent current generation model is? Not after anything spectacular, just something that will run the Witcher and Fable 3 at 1280x1024.

but with extra memory as the 8800GT has less than 1gb with a slower bus and memory if memory serves me right, i might be wrong but that's from memory only

the cost of the 8800GT was 4 times the cheapest one i posted when new, good card mind you in it's day but get your point, leave off the lower one
 
Buy a 2nd hand gtx 470 for £60 quid or so, even a gtx 460 for a little less would do grand.
 
Would £40 get me anything useful? I can't put a really power hungry card in is as there's only a true-power 300 in it.
