Just saw this new on the Medion site and seems to be really good value for money:
Intel® Core™ i7-2670QM processor, Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium, NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX570M DirectX® 11 graphics card, 500 GB hard drive, 80 GB SSD, 4 GB memory, USB 3.0, Bluetooth® 3.0, optimised gaming keyboard, Dolby Home Theater® v4, 39.6 cm/15.6" 1920x1080 full HD display
£969 delivered
Been watching the outlet recently but I'm very tempted to wait till new year and see if there are any Medion deals on. Seems to pack a lot of punch for a 15.6" laptop which is really what I'm after for uni and is quite a jump over the gt555m in the m14x although you don't get all the Alienware bells and whistles. What do you guys reckon?

No one can deny the value for money factor, but Medion's support is lackluster at best, and the MSI chassis used for this particular model leaves something to be desired.

I've read a few reviews of the Medion Erazer laptops and they tend to indicate that the build quality and the screen let the high spec down.

You might get better specs in the dell outlet but need to be prepared to wait until one becomes available so it could take a while. You're also buying a returned item rather than new so depends whether you want to go down that road.
