I bought one ages ago on the hype of RSI and for somereason I appear to be the only one.

Does anybody else use these? I'm wondering about getting a new one because i'm finding the touch of the keys to be awful compared to much cheaper stuff out there.

I've used a couple(all Microsoft of various vintages), most recently the Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 and it is nice but as with almost all the ergonomic keyboards I have used a couple of the keys where the split is("n" specifically in this case) have been a bit stickier for want of a better term. They don't lend themselves properly to delicate touch typing, the spacebar also often needs a good prod to register as well but that may be my typing style.

At the moment though I'm switching between a normal keyboard and a laptop keyboard depending on where I am working in the office. I don't have RSI as far as I am aware so I can't really help you on that score beyond telling you what I thought of the most recent one I tried.

The best ergonomic keyboard I have tried/owned was probably an original Microsoft Natural keyboard, it had just the right weight of buttons and I used to game on it quite regularly without issues.

Thanks for the reply. I know exactly what you're saying. The keyboard I'm on now is a Microsoft Natural Multimedia keyboard and it's god awful to touch type at a reasonable pace with.

My mate has a laptop keyboard/a keyboard where the keys are similar to those of a laptop and he loves it. I may be tempted to switch over.

Another question for those that can type fast, or those that require a good feel for gaming quick commands, what's the best out there in terms of touch?

Logitech keyboards have always been good for me. That said, been using my notebook since early June while I'm without my PC, and I'm getting very quick at typing on its keyboard.

Never been a fan of MS keyboards, the keys always feel a bit stiff and heavy. Don't know if that's been rectified, but I still prefer Logitech.

To be honest, if I was woried about it, I would like to have a DVORAK modified keyboard.

My new Saitek is very nice to type on, ust keep on hitting the wrong keys due to them being further spread out.
