Hello all,

Looking for a better mouse, presently have the Logitech MX Master and lately while using it I started to get slightly discomfortable in my Ring Finger and Pinky, can even move down along the hand towards the wrist. Went to a PC shop to look for another large mouse but seems the MX is among the largest as it is.

So after been to the PC shop I used google and stumbled upon some Ergonomic Mouses, now wondering how they are to use. I'm not a heavy gamer, mostly Wither 3, Fallout games, Civilization and similar.. if that helps.

OcUK don't seem to have any, so would appreciate any and all help in the matter to find me a more comfortable mouse to use while playing and normal browsing. Would prefer wireless but it's not a deal breaker if it has a wire, as long as it is comfortable. :)

Thank you for taking the time reading this and looking forward to your replies.

Shape and comfort, totally subjective. So really, it depends on your personal idea of what a 'comfortable ergonomic shape' is. In the realm of ergo mice, you have the Mionix Naos / Qpad 5K, that have pinky + ring finger support.

Some love them, some not so much. They're OK in my book, not what works for me. So, solid mice, comfort, it's up to you.

Thanks Olivier, I check with my local shop if they have that one and see how it fits in my hand. :)

Would still love to find out if anyone actually is using a Ergonomic Mouse at all ??

Not that popular in gaming. People tend to gravitate towards more conventional, light designs.

EDIT : QPad is a swedish company IIRC. Look up the 5K, or whatever design they have based on it. :) Very similar to the Naos in terms of ergonomics.

Else, I guess the G403 is ergo, or the EC2 / EC1. But I never liked the EC1 that much.

^ This, really.
What works for me may not work for you, which may not work for my friend, which may not work for his butler, etc etc...
My only advice is to try a bunch out and maybe be surprised when you find one you like.

My mum has pretty bad arthritis and uses an Ergo type shaped like a joystick, with mouse 1 & 2 on a thumb rocker up top. She gets on fine with it, but again as above...

I have the same problem. What I did was to search far and wide for a mouse that has enough breadth for my large hands. It should rest easy and has enough weight for me to feel it. I love playing Diablo 2 which really needs excellent mouse handling if you are playing a ranged character. It is fortunate enough that I found something from the local shops that is cheap. It also is good for E-sports games.
