Ergononomic gaming mice?

I've had a few problems with carpel tunnel the last few years, mostly caused by the fact I play drums for a living. However, the only time it flairs up at the moment is after extended periods of gaming. I'm currently using a Razer Diamondback from a few years ago. Anyone else had similar problems? If so, any advice on a more ergonomic mouse that could help?

Saitek/Cyborg, R.A.T. 7/9....

They do cheaper versions (3/5), but I don't believe they're as adjustable. The 7 mind you is so comfortable, and so adjustable, that you can basically make it fit your hand. Never had any problems with mine, and I used to get awful finger cramps playing games. Nothing since...

The RAT 5 has weights that can be added and the rear part can be extended. But for more customization options then go with a RAT 7/9.

I have Carpal Tunnel and have justed swapped from an MX518 to a RAT 7. After sorting out the adjustments my hand is much better. And the adjustable weights is a nice option as well.

Thanks! It's good to hear the opinion of a fellow sufferer! Looks like I'm moving to the RAT 7 then.
