Has anyone had any experience with Ergotron monitor arms? Specifically the dual LX one.
I've got an OcUK 24" monitor and a BenQ 20.1" and i'm looking to free up some space on my desk and position them correctly.
According to the Ergotron site, the max combined weight is 9.1kg.
The BenQ is 4.8kg (manual) and the 24" is probably around 5.7kg (net weight according to the box)
Another thing that concerns me is the depth of the 24", the site says "Monitor depth greater than 2" (5 cm) may diminish capacity" and actual depth is more than double that.
The closest similar setup was on Coding Horror. The 24" he uses is heavier although it has half the depth.
Anyone know if this would be suitable? It's a fairly expensive purchase so I want to be certain.
