How easy/hard is it to remove a few links from a bike chain, will need mine next week but the bloody chains too lose and I can adjust the bike enough to make it a little tighter :)

Yes perhaps a little off topic but couldn't see a suitable forum!

As said, get a chain tool. Shouldn't be to much for it and can be useful when riding and chain snaps or general maintence like now.

Chain goes in tool, wind tool in, when winded in it pokes out a pin in the chain and therefore seperating it. Then take out a section and line the ends back up and wind it back in.

Tip: Don't push the pin all the way out. Do it just enough so you can split the chain. they can be annoying to put back together otherwise.

Or buy a quick link made by Sram.
