Erm, Intel socket compatibility? 1155/1156?

I feel quite ignorant. I've not touched Intel this century... so I'm a bit unfamiliar with what coolers will fit on what.

I'm about to go Ivy Bridge, so I thought I'd check to make sure my Archon will fit.

The paperwork says 775/1156/1366. Ivy Bridge is 1155.

Are the mounting brackets the same on 1155 as 1156?

Yeah it will fit.
