Ok. I purchased a Corsair H50 from the MM.
Got it installed and booted the PC. Went into bios to check out CPU temp. Ok it's all cool (pun intended).

Boot into windows and open CPU-Z. CPU temp=0. :S
Open HWMonitor CPU temp=0.

Run prime95 for 1 minute. CPU-Z and HWMonitor CPU temp=9.

Now that cannot be correct. I'm using a h50 not liquid nitrogen.

Advise?

Ah amd chip, odds are the temp sensors are reading wrongly.

Fairly sure one of the tmpin readings is your actual cpu temp.

It is. I believe the diode is somewhere around the VRM next to the CPU on most boards cos it kinda reflects the CPU temp. When the cpu warms up that temp does too, and visa versa

TMPIN1 stays at 22 when i'm running prime.

TMPIN0 goes quite high around 50
TMPIN2 goes a bit lower around the 46 area...
