ERR !!! no AA frmo ATT only in game

i'v noticed that there's no ANTIANLAYSING
when i check it on "x2" at OPEN GL and DIRECT 3D from ATT and
the only way to get AA it's if the game has that option and i need to shut down x2 AA from ATT as well ...
what can i do ? and why it happened ?
i just can't go back after i played with AA X 2 .....
reinstalled 3 times and with different drivers and att version

i can't play with no AA

and the problem is many games don't even have AA option so i need it from ATT tool....(ATI TRAY TOOL)

i play a lot of 1.6 CS so now i don't have aa in that game

Indeed, a big hearty HUH!!!!!!! is in order.

I am clutching at straws, but if the game doesnt support AA in game, then the ATI control panel will let you force 2X AA onto any direct3d/opengl game iirc.

If the game does support it, simply select it from the in game option. CS 1.6 does not support AA in game iirc, simply choose say Direct3d in the graphics options, then in the ATI control panel in windows, set AA to 2X and there you have it, AA in CS 1.6

As far as I can tell, that's what you want to know, your post (OP I mean) ir impossible to decypher

i hate CCC ! and in CP there's no choise for AA
where do u see it ?
btw i'm now without CP it's that 6.2 drivers some how there isn't CP in it

oh btw .....i used a prog to check and in that prog i see that ATT IS doing AA and AF

Btw - right click desktop - properties - settings - advanced - 3d

alows you to change AA/AF profiles for OpenGL and D3D, if you don't have this just download ATI Tray Tools
 
If a game engine doesnt support AA (like the latest Medal of Honor, cant remember the full name), then it can't be forced, even through the control panel.

i played 3 years 1.6 with AA x 4 !!.....
and many more games with no option for aa INSIDE the game ..it's doing the same job (ATT) ..the minute i had this problem i saw it ....
that ther's no AA at all.

so no 1 knows how to fix this ?

and yes ...my home language isn't english :(
 
We don't really understand your problem. Maybe try typing in your own language, someone might be able to translate.

Are you saying that the option simply isn't there? Or that nothing happens when you select it? Or something else similar? What is installed on your system? The Ati CCC, the old Ati CP, ATT, or none of those?

Just because there is no option in game doesnt mean the engine doesnt support it, so yea, most of the time you can turn it on the the control panel. But, there are a few games out there (not many) that can't use AA at all, even when you try & force it!
 
Is it possible you are either enabling AntiAliasing (AA) for Direct3D applications in the control panel and playing CS1.6 in OpenGL? or vice-versa?
 
I had the same problem with the CAT 6.1 + 6.2. (Posted in your first thread)

Uninstall and run driver cleaner and install 5.12's. All will be solved. :)

what about 5.13 drivers will it be good as well as 5.12 ?
cos i remember 5.13 game me the best score in 2005 3DMARK

in driver cleaner u choose everything that has the word " A T I "
in it and delete ?

and ...
there's "CAB CLEANER" in that program as well ...
in cab cleaner i should do "driver" and "sp2" ? or just "driver"
?

I didn't try the 5.13's, i only tried the 5.12's and i can now get AA & AF on all games. By all means go ahead and try 5.13 if they give you better performance :)
