Hello!
Im wondering if anyone else has had this issue?
I was fiddling about setting up some games on a new monitor/tv and altering the res on them to fit the screen, and after a restart after a windows update in the interim, the graphics card in the device manager now is showing up with a yellow exclamation mark and its an error 43?
Ive reinstalled drivers and still no joy, however i pulled out my usb mouse/keyboard and after a restart seemed to work ok?

Any ideas if this is a problem with the card or what not?!?

Download Driver Sweeper and install.

Now remove Nvidia drivers like you normally do and restart. As soon as the PC resets keep hitting F8 and go into "safe mode". Once in, run Driver Sweeper and remove Nvidia files. Once completed restart the PC and let it start normally this time and try to install the drivers again.

Is it a corrupt file then?
Since ive swapped USB ports the problem seems to be gone so im a bit wary about rocking the proverbial boat!

Wow, :o I read everything in your post other than when you mentioned about removing the mouse and keyboard to fix it. Sorry mate, it was early :D.

I'm not sure why that happened to you though. It's never happened to me before so I've not had to investigate. Hopefully someone who has experienced this problem can shed some light on it.

I know! I was fiddling for ages and ages and ages! and no joy

Swap usb ports, and next reboot ready to start trying to fix again and it works! pfft!

:D I hate problems that leave you scratching your head after you fix them. Someone posted a similar problem today and I advised them to swap USB ports with anything plugged in then rebooting. So you may have helped someone out.

Well at least it's working :D.
