Error after completing 'Endgame' on MW2...

When I complete the level 'Endgame' on Modern Warfare 2, the game minimizes and an error comes up.

Why does this happen?

I had a similar problem when it was loading into Act 3 (not sure if this is the same place)

Right click on the game from your Steam list, select "properties" and then the "local files" tab. Run the "verify integrity of game cache" command - hopefully it'll find the duff files and replace them.
