Hi guys, my rig has been working fine apart from cold boot issues since I built it when ryzen came out, yesterday it refused to boot with error code 8 displayed?
I've reset cmos, tried to reflash bios( I'm on 1602)
Anyway I unplugged my HDMI and usbs e.t.c pulled memory sticks out(2 × gskill trident z)
And it put it back and it booted ok again.
Thought I had fixed it :)
Came to it about an hour ago and it's back to error code 8 and won't boot again :(
I've taken the cpu and memory out , put it back still not working?
And cpu light is green.
Any ideas guys please?

Hi m8
Overclocked to 3800 1.40v

Try clearing cmos and get into bios again and use it at default for now to see whether error 8 caused by your overclocking settings or hardware.

If you get error 8 at default settings check motherboard to make sure its not bend / bowing incase cooler backplate is too tight.

Otherwise apply your overclocking settings and this time slighly increase pll voltage ( if memory overclocked ) or lower core voltage. Low PLL voltage or high core voltage can throw error 8 code.

If you are using reset buttons to clear cmos, try jumpers if you have them or switch off psu, remove cable, press power on few times to discharge completely, remove motherboard battery, wait few minutes and put battery back on and try again.

Weird this is !!
Did all the above this morning, had no joy at all, was ready to chuck the mb away lol.
Just come to it and turned it on and it booted? WTF?
Fingers crossed it's ok now.
Thanks the responses though :)
