ERROR DRIVE has been altered

When booting up I get this error message and the storage capacity on my revo drive shows 120gb instead of 480gb, I cant get passed this, it continously goes into bios.

i have done a quick search online and found this

Switch off System/Turn off the PSU/remove Power cord from outlet/Disconnect the Revo 3 and all other drives/Remove CMOS Battery/Press PC case power button for 20 seconds to discharge capacitors/Short the CLR CMOS jumper and leave all to 'drain' for about 60 minutes/Reset jumper/Re-insert the Battery/Attach power. Turn on PSU and configure CMOS to safe Defaults, set AHCI SATA mode Save CMOS settings, re-boot and switch off.

Once you have completed the above, connect the Revo 3 back to an appropriate PCIe x4/8/x16 slot, switch on and boot to CMOS to ensure it is detected/initialised correctly (At this stage, only the Revo 3 should be attached).
