Okay so all my parts are here and working great.

I've set up the bios. Selected my USB as 1st boot priority and when it boots I get the error in the title. What does this mean?

I burned the ISO straight from my windows 7 disk.

What do you mean by this sorry?

You need to extract the ISO to the USB stick or just copy the contents of the disk straight onto the USB stick.

Sorry, I didn't elaborate. I created an ISO from my disk. Used Microsofts USB Windows install application. Selected the ISO then it went from there.

Yup my Mem stick is USB2.0 so I thought that may have been the problem but nope. I'm doing it your way. Formatted memory stick to NTFS and copying files straight from disk.

That's what I've always done with no problems. Maybe I've been just fortunate that its worked on the hardware but I've tried this on a few Z77 boards.

Just tried it that way. Same error :@. It won't be my Sata setup will it? I've got the controller in Raid mode. 2 Hard Disks in An Array and was hoping to install my windows to the SSD

If you've got any other drives unplug them. Just have the SSD in for the install and add them later.

Do you know the disk works? I assume you have no optical drive?

After I upgraded the motherboard I can't use my old IDE optical drives so I'll need to buy a new one. The disk should work I've used it multiple times. I'll do what you say about unplugging the drives. I should set the controller to AHCI then I guess?

Sorry I don't know much about RAID set ups. I'd assume you leave the controller in RAID mode as that is what you'll need it in
