I was wondering whether anyone in the know would be able to help narrow down a problem I'm having my 40D/17-55mm.
Sometimes when shooting, the shutter will open (from what I can hear), only the image won't be taken and the only thing I get on the screen will be the following message:
I'm pretty confident it's not the body because I have a Sigma 10-20mm that doesn't have any issues at all. The only area where there's any confusion is that the problem only seems to come about when focusing beyond 20mm-ish (so hard to be 100% that it's not the body).
Has anyone had a similar problem or know anything about it that could set me on the right path to get it sorted?
