Error migrating mailbox from exchange 5.5 to 2003

Hi all,

When I try and run the Exchange Server Migration Wizard to migrate a
mailbox from an Exchange 5.5 server (running on NT Service Pack 6a with
High Encryption) to a new 2003 server I get the following error on the
2003 server :

"Invalid Server specified or you do not have the permissions required
to complete the operation."

any ideas please?

This sounds like a permission problem.

When you are running the wizard you will have to specify an account that has full access to the Exchange 5.5 server. It is usually best to use the service account that was used to install Exchange 5.5, as this will have full permissions (usually).
