im trying to use this guide to flash my graphics card bios to a newer version

for some reaosn tho its giving me this message
"error:no nvidia display adapters found"
the reason i need to flash it is because my leadtek 8800gtb was pre overclocked to 680mhz & caused games to hang sometimes, i used a program to lower the speed to 600mhz and now its completely stable (this saves me the annoyance of taking it back out of my system and messing around with a rma)
the new bios i found on the leadtek site has the clocks set to 600mhz so it will save me having to run the program each time i start windows & it also improves fan controll
can anyone help?
