error on startup!

i get this message on startup everytime, it says windows
wasent shutdown properly which isnt true because i
shutdown properly each time.

Status: 0xc0000e9

Info: Windows failed to load because the kernel is missing or corrupt.


this comes up on a black screen and not a blue screen.
I have to keep hitting "Start windows normally" constant
sumtimes for 30/40 seconds until sumthing kicks in and windows
loads.

ive tryed a windows repair a few times and it doesnt help.
Ive tryed a quick format and a full format with fresh os install, doesnt help.

OS is Vista Ultimate with SP2
AMD 64 Dualcore 4200+
3Gb DDR
500gb hdd
8800GTS

everything is stock no overclocks

any ideas?

Try running memtest, sometimes this error is due to a bad ram stick failing to write at close.
Try memory one stick at a time and see if error occurs.

also run chkdsk on your HDD to make sure there are no bad scetors.
