Error "Out of memory"

Right now this has been fine most days, I'm not going to say what game it is because people will start hating. But I've got like 85 hours clocked on steam and its never give me this problem.

So I ask you, is it vRAM or should I put another 4GB in the other 2 DIMM Slots

With so few details we can't really give you any decent advice.

It could be something completely unrelated to the game (or not..who knows with so few details).

Make sure your pagefile is enabled & set to system managed plus ensure your hard drive has enough hard drive space on it for the pagefile to grow +5%.
