please help with this report seems a bit sus to me

It sounds like you have the messenger service turned on in xp still.
Does that message and others just pop up in a box randomly sometimes?
Follow this to turn it off or maybe consider running windows updates though internet explorer to install service pack 2.

but the system i am running is NT will it still work in the same way?? Thanks again for your help

Yeah its virtualy the same to turn it off in nt too.
