Error running Teamviewer and Vuze - Please permit network comms on this computer?

Getting this error:

"An error has occured during the initialization of the programme. probably some security software blocks network communication on this computer. please permit network communications on this computer."

It's a windows errors box, tried disabling antivirus and a few other things, any ideas peeps?

Sounds like a firewall could be blocking a port that TeamViewer needs.

Tried disabling the firewall and doesn't seem to help, could windows' integrated firewall be blocking it? If so is there a program I can run/site to go to see what port(s) may be blocked or needed for the programs to run?
