Overclocked processor by any chance ?

I have had that fault before as well, you have to send an email to securom explaining the problem you then send them your serial key for authentication and they will send you a new exe. Works fine for me now :)

Cheers, securom? got a website or email addy?

SWAT 4 doesn't use securom afaik, so why would they need to send you a new exe?

Try updating your DX9.0c to the latest february update, and update your sound and video drivers, as well as chipset if you havent installed.
