Error when trying to install Call of Duty 2

Trying to re-install this game for a match tonight but keep getting an error.

Its Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.

googled but got no answer.

Anyone had this issue?

Also using win7 64.So i just tried to install after reading your post and get the same as you. :confused:

EDIT:just found this and it worked for me.

went into My Computer, right clicked the drive and chose "open in a new window", and from there i went to setup.exe and so on; there was no run as administrator option. Now it's installing. Hopefully everything will be OK.

ill try, just for you. Found a handfull of disks at home and cod2 was in there

its just sat there making noises in my disk drive, hmm

edit: eventually it came with the same error, interesting!

Browse to setup.exe on the disk, right click and run as admin. Should do it.
