ideas?

from my benchies bit on fahmon for the 2124,

x2 gets 170ppd
pd gets 158ppd
t2600 gets 120ppd
p4 gets 101ppd
a64 gets 104ppd

compair that against the ppd for yours, mine took about a day.

Yeah the 2124s are awful. My [email protected] does them at 115PPD. Compare that to another 600 pointer, 2414 which gets me around 300PPD!

SiriusB
there's a big difference between the two - the 600 pointers are effectively 300 point WUs with an extra 100% bonus points due to the amount of RAM used making them worth 600

the 2124 is a 396 pointer which uses almost no resources but just takes a long time - that said the points are a little low and they aren't much quicker on a top of the range rig than something quite long in the tooth :o

1809, 18 oh sodding 9
I've FOUR of these running atm, every one of my core duo PCs is locked down with a sodding 18 bleeding 09.
153 points at about 139ppd

The opty gets 210 :D

Oh yeah, bought a better opty from MM, was doing 3ghz at 1.4 apparently, which is very nice indeed. £50 or so, should be able to sell the current one at auction for that :cool:

Yep, It's official in my books too, these WU's are a pain.

the 2124's thru 2136's that's I've done at home are all averaging between 23min and 48min per step (224ppd to 117ppd)

Best = E6800 @ 23min ave.
Worst = 1.7 PM Laptop @ 48min ave.

For the Amber 1809, I've only gotten them on my Laptop for some reason, which is good, as it's only 153pts. It's averaging about 23min per step or 110ppd.

But it's all good for the science :D

Quesiton: Didn't we have a Benchmark web-site at one point? Is it still in operation?
.

Information is a bit out of date though - can any one submit? - didn't really have time to fully look around site.

428 best PPD - I think not! :D

Was actually planning on compiling the PPD / core / Mobo / user stats myself - If people want to share their Fahmon files (and a basic spec of each machine the threads are on) with me I'll add your results to that of my varied farm. Amd's results are especially welcome as I've none of thoses crunching from me.

It will be in a xls format - for everone's use (if you ask nicely :D )
