I like it! its still tough but not having your walk ruined by some sweatlord is much more pleasant
Prestige 1 done.
Means now I can go somewhat slower for Prestige 2. Definitely not as fun rushing the game IMO

What is prestige?
Essentially a progress system,
Getting kappa, lvl 55, and resetting your account while maintaining your stats etc

I have tried it but the satisfaction for me in any shooter is in beating someone else. AI can't feel annoyed when i kill them, therefore no satisfaction to be had

Im not saying AI is better than live people that would be an idiotic take.
Well, on a case by case basis you click on 'add to wishlist' again and you get the option of removing it. As to actually resetting it all... no idea
Yeah so i've tried that and for some reason the "remove" button is greyed out. I'm trying to finish off my Hideout and when I started I basically added everything - now that i'm only building level 3 things I don't need everything highlighted.
you can clear it in the first settings screen, think it's under "game" and then just above where you select your FOV, there is a option to clear whishlist.
Will give that a shot, didn't see that option before! Many thanks.

What's the deal here? It wiped and version 1.0 is rolled out and on Steam but it wipes again in a week or two?

It wiped completly for the launch of 1.0
If you have the game already - launch via the launcher as usual
If you want the steam version - you need to buy the game all over again...
There is no difference between the two versions.

Are they wiping again soon? Originally they said they would and the first two weeks would be for testing but there seems to be no mention of it now.
no - no wipes at all now.
Potentially "seasonal" wipes where you will have the option to reset but no requirement to do so.
New story line is massively long - 4 different endings according to some information floating around.

Tried ABI? Its like Temu Tarkov but inventory management and queue times are much better, and its free.

Are you still playing ABI? I am currently playing arc raiders but running out of things to do, Its a very different experience.It's a shame as I have 1400 hours in Tarkov, I was hoping they would sort the queue times out. inventory management I can get used to and gets much better when you boxes.

That's great news, as i don't get to play tarkov a lot now, and last wipe only got to level 18 i think, now i wont need to worry, cheers for info.
