ESD stap

Just starting to install my new board, and watching a few tutorials everyone goes on about wearing an esd strap. Now iam eager to start putting everything togther but the last thing I want to do is to bork my new expensive board.

Are there any alternatives, should I just wait a few days and buy one?

I've never used one and every system has been fine.

An alternative would be touch a radiator before you build or install the PSU and connect the power cable (with power off) and touch the metal case.
