Hey. I just went to amazon.co.uk to order a few boxes of Tassimo pods for the machine at work and was prompted with this:

Just wondering if other users are getting this at present?

I get the same thing.

Edit: seems to be happening with a couple of different sites now.

Same here with www.bbc.co.uk.

I turned off the net and ran spyhunter 4. It found nothing until I rebooted. Then it found something trying to change
my home page and got rid of it. I thought it was Nod32 playing up again.

edit=just tried the sites again and all is good. Think I'll keep spyhunter installed.

Is that by Enigma Software, the free version? May give it a bash, just to be sure.

Yup, false positives with Eset today. Everyone's got problems. Nothing to worry about.

You can roll the update back in the advanced settings if you want.

I've been getting the exact same message for a number of sites. It was only by chance I saw this thread, but I was about to reinstall shortly because of this message.

You can roll back definition updates with nod;

Open ESET Smart Security or ESET NOD32 Antivirus

Press F5 to access Advanced setup.

Expand Update, click Update rollback and then click Roll back (select 12 hours) (version 6.x users: Expand Update, click Advanced and then click Roll back).

Select a time interval for which you would like to suspend virus signature database updates from the Suspend updates drop-down menu and click OK.

This.

People on the reseller list got updated about this a few days ago I remember reading it. Move on.

Caused me no end of problems, everyone in one company called so thought something got in there system, was looking everywhere, only sussed it when another company phoned and complained of the same thing. Eset took ages to post the problem on there site, not impressed.

Well now you know :)

Eset have done this previously, first thing I did was check up on Twitter as I knew I didn't have anything on mu machine & technet, Amazon etc. couldn't all be having problems. Twitter posts confirmed it was just a bad update.

In fact I think there was a time when an Eset update deleted a system file... Maybe that was another av though

Par for the course with anti-virus.
