hi just using 30day trial of ESET, and have noticed there arn't as many options in the menu's as i previously had in Kaspersky. am i getting the same level of protection in just less menu options?
think it best if i leave those at default, as i have little knowledge of it atm. big question does it offer same protection as kaspersky did but called different things?
I never liked KS esp since they totally broke CHKDSK in the 2006 build and I gave up on it (after 1st Scan and verified by them but never fixed AFAIK publically anyhow).
ESET ESS needs major work, this build is near EOL and the Beta for next gen is in testing but its buggy but then so is the current Full Build, the only have been at the ESS for 1-2years or so.
Nod32 was really too deep for many beginers, with Imon/Amon etc, ESS is not as bad even in them Deeper Settings.
Yeah, i had bad experiences with the Smart Security after having problems with internet connections.
I just stick to the Nod32 anti virus and windows firewall.
